Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993. She is also the director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible as the pioneer of modern studies of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and the role of children in witnessing. Her publications are numerous and she has been awarded numerous grants, and has been the winner of many awards at both national and internationally. She has advised numerous administrations and agencies across the world about policies and research relating to child victims by the legal system. She serves as an expert consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a fellow of numerous professional associations, including those of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology-Law Society Psychology of women and trauma stress 56). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has been president of three divisions (Division Society for Policy on Child and Family and Practice Division, American Psychological Law Society, and Division Developmental Psychology) and one Section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
